ISSUE 03 – Gravity for a Muse (PDF)
Often we see the things we take for granted dance away before our eyes, leading us in the direction of the uncertain and the undecided: dreamlike and exciting - yet to be realized. The doldrums of every- dayness are often thwarted by the appearance of inconclusive mo- ments. Intimations of the possible sow the seeds of every art, and when we highlight dreams and intuitions, we are making of reality the plaything of perception. These instances push the material of talent and imagination into the sculpted matter of the world. To write a poem, to build a temple, to crystallize an expression in a piece of canvas... all are forms of giving birth.
